Caring for the Candle

Let's make sure you're safe! 🕯️🔥

We want to make sure you have the most pleasant experience with our candles, but please be aware that candles can lead to serious accidents if left unattended.

To ensure that you enjoy our products safely from the first burn to the last, please refer to our guides.

BEFORE LIGHTING THE CANDLE 🔍🕯️

Before lighting the candle, make sure the candle wick is cut to about 5mm. This is necessary to prevent uneven or rapid burning, dripping or flaring and to promote a stable flame, limiting jumps and enhancing how the candle scent fills the room. Invest in a good wick trimmer that will trim and remove excess wick cleanly.

The candle must be placed in a SAFE AREA. Make sure that when you light the candle, it is not burning near places/things that can catch fire (furniture, paper, books, curtains, etc.).

Keep candles out of reach or places where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.

WHILE THE CANDLE IS BURNING ⌛🔥

🕯️ It is important that the decorative candles are placed on a suitable support so that the wax can drain onto it without staining the furniture!🕯️

For safety reasons, a candle should not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Never leave a candle unattended.

Never sleep with a lit candle. This can lead to serious accidents.

For safety reasons, do not burn a candle to the end. Stop when 10 mm of wax or less remains.

If you want to take advantage of the scent of the candle, make sure that during the first 30 minutes that the candle is burning, you do not have multiple windows open.

When you burn a candle, the wick should not flicker. If this happens and the flame is out of control, this is a sign that the candle is not burning properly. This can be a dangerous situation, so be sure to turn it off and cut the fuse before relighting it.

AFTER BURNING 🚿💤

When you blow out the candle, make sure you don't pour water on top. Use an extinguisher to extinguish the candle.

Before leaving the room, make sure the candle is completely extinguished and there is no glow from the wick coal.

Do not touch or move the candle until it has cooled completely.

Candles should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place. No direct sunlight.

Make sure the candle is clean before reusing it. Candles can easily become covered with dust.
